City Of Norwich School
Omnis recently completed the conversion of a former gymnasium at one of Norwich foremost schools.  Known affectionately as ’The Barn’, the building has been extensively reconfigured to provide first floor contemporary class base facilities together with a communal social space area beneath.

Christmas Wine Tasting a Success
The festive wine tasting, held at the refectory in Norwich Cathedral was heralded as an overwhelming success. 12 exclusive wines were tasted and the special prize of a Magnum of Champagne will be drawn this Friday, so good luck to all that took part.

Omnis Complete Major Electrical Sub-Station
The construction of the EDF Energy £1m Arbury Sub-Station in Cambridge has now been completed by Omnis Construction. This contemporary style building was built to stringent planning requirements in keeping with the theme of the adjacent science park. Works included a complex steel framed / steel clad / masonry structure featuring a curved standing seam ‘Kalzip’ roof.

Peterborough Central UTX
Omnis has successfully completed the design and construction of the first stage of their enabling works package to provide a key under track Network Rail crossing for Carillion Utilities. Working alongside tunnel specialists Visser & Smidt Hanab (UK) the completion of this phase of the project, anticipated early 2009, will allow the critical power linkup between Peterborough South and Central EDF installations.
